Does a Flamesa really give off heat?
Yes. Flamesa is built as a patio heater, combining visible flames with radiant heat you can feel around it. How warm it feels depends on the model, the outdoor temperature and the wind.
Do I need gas or electricity?
No. Flamesa runs on wood pellets and needs no electrical connection, so you're free to place it wherever you like on your patio or in your garden.
Which pellets should I use?
Use suitable wood pellets with a 6 mm diameter. Dry, good-quality pellets help create a stable, clean burn.
How long does a full hopper of pellets last?
Burn time depends on the model, the amount of pellets and the airflow. You'll find the burn time and hopper capacity for each model on its product page.
Does a pellet heater produce smoke?
In normal use with a good burn, there's usually very little visible smoke. Smoke tends to appear mainly when lighting the heater, when maintenance is insufficient or when pellets are damp or lower quality. With dry, good-quality pellets and regular maintenance, there's hardly any smoke.
Can I use Flamesa under a covered patio?
Only use Flamesa outdoors, in a well-ventilated spot, and always keep to the prescribed safety clearances. Near a conservatory or under a covered patio, good airflow and enough distance from flammable materials are especially important. Always follow the instructions for your model.
What maintenance does a Flamesa need?
Remove ash and combustion residue regularly, and keep the burn chamber and glass parts clean. Flamesa offers various care products and spare parts to help.
What if Flamesa doesn't turn out to be right for me?
You have 30 days to change your mind. Before returning anything, check our current returns policy to see exactly which conditions and any return costs apply.
